World Car Free Day aims to encourage people to be less dependent on their cars and make more use of walking, cycling or public transport. I don’t have a car so this is my life. Mainly, I’m glad of it, and value it - but our society seems to be run on the assumption that everyone has a car, so it isn’t always straightforward.
